A trackpad that unlocks phone. Enhance security?

    Scrolling webpage and messages? Productivity?

    Will that be good?

If the flash light can double as a track pad, I won't kind that one bit

The ergonomics of that idea just seems horrible. Who would you use it? With your forefinger? And what about where you rest your finger? How far do you reach?Accidental touches would be a big issue. As would general comfort.

Cases would need a hole for it. And it'd need to be big enough to let your finger reach the pad and move around without hitting the edge of the hole.

Why not? Because it's in an Otterbox.

Giving you phone a reach around to open something does nothing for me?

Agree.. how about security fingerprint scan for unlocking and online purchases? Increase blackberry reputation on security feat. Hope blackberry beats apple first to use it.

With an all touch screen and the functionality of BB10, there is no need for a trackpad. But if you have to have one, put it on the front, easier to use and less prone to accidental activation.

I would love a track pad... it would reduce the length of swiping needed to open screens and close apps. Let alone accurate placement of cursor.

Put it where the current BlackBerry logo sits at the bottom Bessel, I could use it with my thumb, the same way I used it on the curve.
