For the last three days, I am getting prompted to install a foursqaure update. It downloads, says it installs it, and, well, the next morning..... wash, rinse, repeat.

I, personally, don't use foursquare. In my case, it is bloatware provided by TMo.

Anyone else having this issue?

Nah... Foursquare comes pre-installed on the device.
Does the problem persist even if you delete the original app and reinstall?

I've deleted it a few times and it always gets reinstalled it seems... I don't find it that useful I tried it a couple times..

I'm on version 10.1.2.4523, which it says was released on May 1. No updates since then.

I've used it a few times, but so far I'm not feeling it. I've used it mainly as a local search tool, without bothering with the social network aspect of it. I don't care about checking in and out of places. Maybe I'm missing out on something really special. But for finding things and then invoking Maps to get there, it's okay.

I have foursquare update which doesn't seem to download. Whenever I try to update, msg say ' downloading' then after a few seconds ' cannot connect to the net'. I think BlackBerry world error.

Seemed to resolve it. Deleted it completely. Reinstalled, and so far so good.

I deleted all the bloat and it hasn't come back... Although I am promoted to update when I connect to blackberry link

Lucky you. I tried deleting the bloatware and am greeted in the morning by a "Software Update". Damn you, Rogers.
