Firmware restore not possible!
Hello
i have several issues with my Z10 (hanging telephone app or freezing)
and i want to reload firmware described here: KB33480-BlackBerry 10 smartphone does not boot and displays a Phone with USB icon after an interrupted Security Wipe
But this is not working.
blackberry.com/updates -> software installed -> z10 found by software -> but no new software/firmware found for z10 -> program ended
So iam not able to restore firmware.
I need urgently help here. Maybe hardware is faulty and i want to sort it here out with a refresh of firmware.

You should be able to try loading any of the auto-loaders in the Z10 section of this page (at the bottom):
BB10 OSes ← Open Source BlackBerry – OSBB
Do *not* try to load any versions for the PlayBook or Dev Alpha.
I would strongly suggest trying reloading through BlackBerry Link first though. It's a little erratic but eventually it does work. BlackBerry Link can be freshly downloaded here:

By "updates," I meant reloads. I thought you were saying that you have tried to reload the OS and it failed. There are no further (or "hidden") OS updates available right now beyond what you're being offered. - 02-09-2013, 05:27 AM #5
Use Firefox. Internet Explorer never worked for me.

Is it like the pb where if you have link open and connect you're Z10 while powered off does it offer to update and or restore?

Link said there are no recent updates available? That makes me think that perhaps you weren't doing it correctly. Before trying anything else you should definitely try the link method. Here is what to do:
-Do not connect your Z10 to your computer.
-Open Link
-Click the gear icon in the top right (Settings)
-Click Reload Device Software
-Plug your Z10 into your computer using the USB cable that came with it
-Click Reload
-A popup will come up telling you that this will delete your device. Click OK
-A box will popup saying checking for Blackberry Device Software Updates. Then another box will popup over that saying to press and hold the power button on your Z10. Do that.
