    Am I the only one, sending an image kills my phone. Only function to still work is screen shot everything else buttons and gestgures fail. Only corrected by a battery pull...

    That's really strange. I use whatsapp quite a bit, but am not having these issues. Then again I'm still on 10.0 (stupid ATT but that's another issue).

    Could it be the version of OS you guys have?

    Funny to see this thread. This has happened to me as if latest yesterday. Was trying to send a picture and ended up freezing my phone (Z10).

    Hope whatsapp will provide a fix soon.

    Somehow, I don't believe that the people who asked for whatsapp also asked that it not work correctly. I don't use whatsapp, but no one should be pleased if an app isn't working correctly. Granted, sometimes people will complain for the sake of complaining, but that doesn't appear to be the case here.

    complaining for the sake of complaining is exactly what is happening here. I've used whatsapp on android and now on bb10. its virtually the same thing. whatsapp does what its supposed to do and works fine and as advertised.

    I use Whatsapp quite a bit since I have a lot of overseas communication. Works great on my Z10. Even on Wifi when I was in Malaysia. And no noticeable battery drain vs my old Bold 9900.

    How could these people be complaining for the sake of complaining when they are experiencing legitimate issues? For many people, whatsapp is indeed freezing and locking up the phone. You may not be having any problems, but, then again, it doesn't make much sense to generalize out from yourself.

    Dear Sonic, I never complain for the sake of it. If something is ****ty I say it how it is.

    So far WhatsApp is failing and I have to pull the battery. It's as simple as that.
