I've had my Z10 since January and it's been a great experience! In many ways I prefer it to the iPhone 5S that I also carry. Despite the great BB10 flick keyboard, I'm itching to get back on a qwerty device either the Passport or a Q10.

Good luck with whatever you choose.

Bought mine used two weeks ago. Even with a new battery, battery life is below par but workable. Other than that, it's great.

Got a Z10. IOS user And Symbian. I'm also quite of a technerd;D The hardware is fine. Indeed The battery isn't that good but with a chargebundle you can go all Day. Or Just buy a case with buildin battery $15 eforchina.
I Like it very much despite the bad reviews I read. Even here in europe the phone gets good support. Only thing here is wifi-problem. Somtimes (once a week) I have to reboot the phone because the wifi doesn't work. Can be due to the fact that my battery is never empty And I barely shutoff my phone

Good phone but heard better things from the Z30. Just wait And see maybe the Classic Or Passport Will be more suitable for you

I love the Z10, everything about the Z10 but the battery of course. I miss my Z10, actually I'm using an android device because my Z10 is broken by the third time and my carrier is trying to fit it AGAIN ... but anyway... First it didn't make any sound, after 3 months the camera didn't work and now is death, it doesn't turn on so... I love my Z10 but I miss it because every 3 months I have to expend a few weeks without my loved device but anyway is a great device...no irony...

The looks of the z10 are just beautiful. For the price you really going to love the z10. I have the black one, because the back of the device has a nice soft rubbery feel.

Battery life is not great but ok. With a smartphone you always need to charge once a day.

I carry my Z30 on my pocket. You can google images comparing Z10 and Z30, no big difference in size.
At least you have some kind of work that force you to have most of the time only one hand free, don't see
why not use both hands. It really amaze me people talking about one-hand-use on their devices, 3 out of
10 times probably people will use one hand to write.
I use my phone on the toilet, in bed when I'm lying on my side, sometimes quick in the car (yeah I know....it's bad).

I really want to operate my phone with one hand in those situations.

I see so many threads about ... and inability to receive calls ...
I've seen this on every phone that I've owned and on other people's too, so this is not specific to the z10 or BlackBerry. Usually a phone restart is required to(temporarily) fix it.

I am about to complete my first month with the z10 tomorrow...and I would, without a doubt, recommend this phone to anyone.

I challenge someone to find a better value in a phone purchase between $100 - $200.

The OS is smooth, it is the perfect size, and the materials the phone is made of are brilliant. I am hooked.

Can the battery last longer? Sure, but it lasts all day for me and the phone charges quickly when you need to.

Oh...and BlackBerry nailed it with the call quality. Best device I have used for sound quality on the phone (and I am an AT&T employee that has tried plenty of phones).

    Bluetooth is exceptional too...

As you can tell I could go all day...

I've had my Z10 over a year. It started developing a battery leak issue (6-7hrs max) earlier this month. I installed 10.2.2 using the autoloader and it is working great now. Battery lasts 14+ hrs. It may be longer but I habitually put it on a charger in the car and at work. I would recommend installing 10.2.2 before setting up your phone if you go with the Z10. (I'm on AT&T)
Most things are smooth but I am having an occasional lag when playing Galazer (Android game). Looking forward to 10.3.1 and improved Android app performance.
If you are worried about battery duration, you could pick up a small battery pack. Radio Shack has a 4000mAh back that is slim and will charge the phone multiple times.

One of my Z10s has an extended battery on it and it lasts me almost 2 days and then some. If you don't mind the extra bulk, go for it.

One tip when using an extended battery, it is quite awkward to hold and type on using portrait mode, use landscape mode when typing long messages... and posts.

    Lol

New to BB OS10. I've had mine just over 1 month, Great phone. Battery could be better. (battery bundle helps in emergencies)
No regrets. Don't miss android. Can't go wrong for price. Phone quality is best I've ever owned. Get one you will not be disappointed. Perfect for one hand. (for me anyway)
Good luck in your decision. Love mine. If it broke today I would get another one tomorrow.

I've had the Z10 going on 2 years now.
Only real issue now that Android Apps are available is the Z10's battery. Do yourself a favor and buy a charger/spare battery package. You can get one for around 20 on Amazon, and your device should last through the day if you do.
I'd recommend going for the Z30, but if you're set on the 10, it is still a rock solid device almost 3 years later. I've totally abused my device, broken the screen 3 times, it's been driven over, flooded, thrown, dropped down stairs. Still going strong except I lost auto focus after getting driven over, and lost my rear flash after being flooded. I love this phone.

Go for z30 if you can. You will not regret. Z10 is great but z30 is the greatest. The only thing you will regret about z10 is the battery. So, my best suggestions is go for z30

I think the z10 is just about perfect. Went to the z30 and actually switched back to the z10 because it was a shareholder too large for my liking. As for the battery, I always keep a spare handy, charged and ready to go.

As a small aside, I tried a windows Nokia 635 for two days. Hated it. Keyboard was nowhere near as good as the BlackBerry.

As for apps, if you think the BlackBerry has an app issues, then don't get a windows phone. At least with BlackBerry you can use snap or Amazon or 1market to get android apps.

Z10 is a sweet phone. Must have accessory: battery charger bundle. There's nothing wrong with the Z10, it's a great device. So are all the other BlackBerry 10's.

Agree on Windows Phone... terrible keyboard after getting used to BB10, and the app selection is pretty abysmal, especially considering we can now install apps via Snap or some other Android market place.

I use a WP as my backup device when I break my Z10... lol... they only great thing about the device is Microsoft Office. Otherwise, pos in my humble opinion.
