So when I add a new friend on Facebook, he doesn't show up in the contact list and therefore I can't link my new Facebook friend to an existing user... any solution?

The same problem I also facing on Z10 while facebook contacts were synced very efficiently on 9860. New contacts added in facebook are not shown in contacts.

Maybe remove and add Facebook again...does the new friend show up in the app?

Yes new friends are visible from inside the app

Try to remove and re add the Facebook account...if it shows up then we know it's not syncing to the phones contacts properly ...if it doesn?t then we know there is a problem with the account not pulling all the content

I have the same problem.. does the contact list really add new Facebook friends you added after the initial sync?

Well I deleted the Facebook contacts and deleted Facebook itself just to make sure... then re downloaded Facebook and adding my account and synced my contacts again.. now I'm waiting to add a new friend and see if it will sync of not.
