    Are there any plans to update the current BB10 Facebook app, it's now become a serious irritation as I get notifications of "FB updates" but am unable to open them, the only work around I have at present is to go in via the web browser mobile app.

    Given that FB is nowadays an important comms source I'm stunned at Blackberry for not keeping on top of this, it's really starting to taint my experience. To now I've loved the phone, but am realising the company is just not "with it" anymore.

    Wouldn't wait for it tbh. All bets are on Android, don't think the Facebook app will get priority soon. They also have to work on BlackBerry 10 with less resources.

    Even I dealt with the same problem which couldn't be resolved so I just deleted the app n uses browser for fb

    Find the Facebook Lite apk, and use that. Its awesome

    Problem being with using the android options tho are that it won't get integrated into the hub ..... am I right?

    Hell, FB sucks even on my iPad. The updated ios9 has messed up how it opens. How links open, messaging etc . It's all over the Internet now and Facebook is doing nothing. So not just BlackBerry.

    What. U sure? I beg to differ, it is good in my iPhone 6. Plus they update the app every 2 weeks so I don't think it's really that bad

    BlackBerry gave up on the BlackBerry world facebook app. Face it, BlackBerry is going full force on android. Lets hope it sells!

    BlackBerry gave up on many of their own BB10 apps a long time ago. Don't hold your breath expecting a major update to the app.
    Chen has put all his eggs in one basket and is praying it ends up being successful.
