Why is Facebook now draining my battery? Ive narrowed this to just the FB app. Anyone else experiencing this?

You should take a look at your sync interval. By default it keeps making contact with the server all the time and this drains the battery. For some more than others.

In Facebook pull down from the top bezel. Select settings. Scroll down and you will find the sync interval. I would also turn off background Sync. I also disabled notifications. That way Facebook updates only when I open it and I am not bothered by every "like" or invite to play some game.

Unless I'm missing something here. I've never been able to pull down from the top bezel in my Facebook app to access settings or for that matter sync interval.

Swiping down from the top doesn't show settings for me and I don't remember it ever being that way. I may have been but I can't remember. The current version has the settings in the left menu tab.

For some reason I can't seem to find it anymore. I know it has been there before. I stopped using it a long time ago so I can't really tell what's going on. Sorry.

Swipe down from the home screen and select settings, then on accounts and then on Facebook, turn off sync and notifications from there!

That just disables the sync in total. There's no interval option.
