    Hi
when BB10 first came out when you were on call the screen blacked out so your face didn't either cut off the phone, put your call on speaker phone etc... some how I've either disable this feature or software upgrades caused it to be removed. Anyone else have this problem? How can I enable that feature?

I haven't had this happen and I've owned it since February 5th. Perhaps your pulling it away slightly from your face than accidentally pressing something.

So far, this is the first time I am hearing about such a problem.

I had this issue with 10.2.1.476. It's fixed again in 10.2.1.641.

This also happened on my old Torch when using a screen protector without a cutout for the proximity sensor.

I initially had this problem also. I realized that it was because I was placing the phone to my face too fast. Before the screen had time to go blank. Ever since I've been putting it to my face a little slower allowing it to adjust and I haven't had a problem since. Hope this helps.

Cmans's advice sounds pretty good. Hope it helps you.

Thanks all... don't think it's the speed at which i put it to my head though... i've tried that solution of going slowly. The call screen just stays on permanently.

Do you have a screen protector? Maybe it is blocking the proximity sensor.

I agree with magsasaka. Screen protectors that cover the proximity sensor stop it working.

You can use the BB link software to backup and then restore your phone.

You must have a faulty phone because the screen is supposed to go blank when talking during a call.
