I'm really impressed with the call quality of Z10 when talking to another high end phone like a Z10 or iPhone 5.
You will notice little Icon "HD Audio" beside the number you called. The sound is crystal clear on both regular and speaker phone.

Anyone else care to comment?

Call quality is outstanding on the Z10. I am very impressed by it. Also mine seems to grab more bars and hold them than my iPhone 5.

Try calling someone with another z10. If you call a standard phone the icon will not come up.

I noticed this too...the 'phone' part is very good, w/o the tinny-ness of previous BB's. Also, speaker phone is louder and easier to manage.

He is saying the truth, I just called Best buy & it does NOT show HD Audio on the right.. Maybe it only shows it when you are calling a phone which supports HD Voice.

Audio is fantastic! Even when connecting the aux cable to my car speakers the bass and sound is incredible. Much better than the audio mods I had on my Android (and I thought that was good)

I (on Bell) first noticed the HD Audio icon while talking with a buddy (on Telus) with an Android device. I noticed it when took the phone away from my ear and looked at the phone as if to say, "Damn phone, you crazy clear!"

Yea but most Android's have this feature for a while now. It was just never enabled from the carriers.

Regular network will work just fine!

It depends on the carrier. Contact the carrier you are on & see if they do.

Ya for sure..well I had the HTC one S and had it modded with ac!d audio mod. It's supposed to be the best and I thought it was till the Z10. Speaker phone is nice loud and clear too. Overall best audio and I've played with many phones

I'm with telus and I get the "HD Audio" icon when making calls. The Z10 is the best call quality I have had on any phone. BBM voice is so clear and even on specker phone.
