there is the option to "email chat" from within a conversation in BBM, this has stopped working for me, even with the latest official OS it still is not working. Has something changed ?? Is there settings that can be checked ?? Anyone else have or notice this issue ??

Well I don't know when it changed but it doesn't work for me either now! And I have not changed my OS since the day I bought my phone from VZW! I have emailed chats before so this is a new occurrence. Maybe it has something to do with the new BBM...

It always worked for me before. Have no idea if they disabled the feature of not but when I chose email chat....nothing happens.

Well I just checked at it is still available on mine. STL100-2, os 2354 BBM version 10.1.0.59

Mine is still working... Are you, piper975 or jaydee5799 on a BES? I know it can be disabled (I manage one now and we chose not to disable...).

Which version of BB10 are you running? I'm on 10.1.0.1720, release 273 and it works seamlessly.

running latest version of OS and BBM that are official on Telus, as for emailing the chat, the conversation that I am trying to email is from a user who is on a BES, I am not however on a BES. Their administrators may have enabled the feature then to safe guard information.

Looks like there might be 2 factors that preclude the emailing of a chat thread/conversation:

1) Size of the chat. I can pretty much guarantee that the chat you are trying to email is too large. Experiment with a small one and see for yourself, as I did. Side note - it would be great to know what the size/line limitation is.
2) Multi-person/conference chats. This I haven't verified 100%, as it might just be that the conference thread I tried was too large. In fact, I'm inclined to think that that wouldn't be a restriction, since the option simply loads the thread into an email which you then have to manually address.

Re BES restrictions, I guess an enterprise can impose whatever they see fit there - not sure though.
