In the contacts app I have numbers that a double, and sometimes triple. When you check details on it one shows it stored local, another shows stored on sim then another doesn't show where it's from. I have Verizon. They have a contacts backup app so I think that third one is coming from there. How can I clean up my phone book?! I just want the contact to show up one time and if I chose to have Facebook or whatever added as a link. Can someone help? Because this contacts list look soo disorganized

Contact X is a paid app available in BlackBerry World that'll definitely help you.

    Welcome to the forums!

Open the contaacts app, swipe from the top > settings.

    There you'll see this:

    Duplicate contacts-img_00000015.jpg

Just turn off whatever is messing up your contact list. They won't be deleted, just won't be displayed.

FOr a more premanent solution, I'd suggest going throught your setup (sync'ed contacts, local database, social media, SIM card) and manually dealing with duplicates. USually, the Contacts app can merge automatically, provided each entry has the same name, email and phone number (and by same, it seems that they need to be identical).

    Good luck there!

    EDIT
    : Rofl, forgot the image...
