I would just die bro. I hate the way the cases are made nor to cover the phone completely. You need some type of software fail and then you get a warranty replacement. I know if you use the PlayBook charger one day soon the device will not come on and it will not work.

The PlayBook charger burns devices out. It just did my Plantronics Voyager in and I got a replacement a couple days ago. But good luck because my OCD would not let me rest with that diggy.

The playbook charger is an acknowledged rapid charger for the Z10 as stated by BlackBerry and was quoted as such in an article stating that fact on this app.
Did Plantronics release a statement giving you the thumbs up to use a BlackBerry PlayBook charger? Not friggin likely. Why the hell would you just assume it was wise to use that charger for that device.

NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry dude. That sucks. If you're interested, I'll trade you a brand new White Z10 with no scratches and a case? I know the phone is worth like 2000$, but I figure the scratch pretty much drops the value to 187.23$

Cover the scratch with a piece of duct tape, it looks like it should be a perfect color match!

Imho any jeweller would fix that. They fix broken golden wedding rings, etc, so I am sure they would fix that as well

When jewelers fix wedding rings etc, they aren't forced to adjust the texture of the stainless steel. The only way to fix this to get it looking good again would be to disassemble it, weld it, and sand the weld down to become flat.

You cannot "buff" something that is missing a chunk.

I think you'll have to find some workshop to polish it. It's similar to scratching expensive watches. Dropped my IWC dual time couple of weeks back and sent it to have it polished. For deeper scratches they will use a laser to sort of melt the metal, weld it together and refile it and polish it. That for watches... I'm sure it's similar fr phones but I'm not sure that there are such specialised polishing services for phones

If I'm not mistaken your phone is stainless steel, you should have no problem buffing that out.
Use some very fine grit paper or emery board and give it a wet sand, then buff out with buffing wax (Done)!!!!
Oh lord, don't use sandpaper at all! It isn't gouged, simply marred a bit. Use a metal polish if anything. If you want to try someting that won't be too abrasive first, use some regular paste type toothpaste. t is very mildly abrasive and can polish. If it needs more, you can use polishing compound or a metal polish like Simichrome. Amazon.com: Simichrome Metal Polish: Automotive

Better to try the least abrasive methods first, then work your way up if necessary.

Make the same damage to the phone on the other side of the phone and tell everyone it was designed that way.
