    I don't think this is possible because a some point in time after consecutive incorrect entries the phone will ask you to type in the word BlackBerry. It is only after typing in BlackBerry are you allowed to attempt additional password entries before reaching the limit and initiating a wipe.

    Yesterday I took a picture of the inside of my pocket, uploaded it to Facebook, tagged 3 people, and left a comment all while the phone was in my pocket. I received several nice comments on my pocket posting skills.

    I have had my Z10 for 6 months but this has only recently been an issue, not sure why. I turned off my allow gestures when locked. I think this will solve my problem.

    Just a FYI here, the current rev on T-mob (10.1) added the phone icon to the main screen. it is easy to hit it and then call the last number you called. Rev 10.2 will have an additional screen to verify you want to call a number.

    I put my phone in a case. The case was a freebie (came with the phone from Costco. I haven't heard if the Z10 uses a magnetic lock. If so, a case with a magnetic lock would be the best solution.

    If you don't set a password under settings > security > password, then the lock icon will not be available on your shut down screen.
