So I have a situation where someone who got a Z10 shouldn't have and therefore is going to be "downgraded" to a 9900 (long story, don't want to get into it).

Is it possible to be able to move someone's Z10 data (music, pictures, etc) via BB Link or am I going to have to manually copy all this stuff onto a microSD card (if it's not there already) in order to move it from one phone to the other? And if I do it via the microSD will there be stuff I won't be able to move?

E-mail / Calendar / Contacts / etc. are fine as we have a BES running here, so not worried about that.

I think I would wait for the Q10.

I was using a 9900 yesterday and I realized what a huge step up BB10 is.

You could try to backup everything on the Z10 on Link and using that file to restore on the 9900 via Desktop Software? If it is your old handset, won't most things be on there anyway? *crosses fingers*

It's a new handset actually.

That backup file, how does one access that? I did a backup of a Z10 yesterday via Link and tried to restore it a new Z10 and it wouldn't allow me.

Im also downgrading from my Z10 to my old 9810, anybody know how to backup the phone from OS10 and restore to OS7? I'd hate to lose any of my contacts, notes, etc.
