As wondering if anyone's Z10 has a grid of dots on the screen under bright lighting. I never noticed this until today when I had a lap directly behind me. It looks like they would be from the machine that manufactured the LCD.

They are easiest to see with a bright light shining on a clean, unlit screen while rotating the phone on an angle.

If this isn't common I'm going to go exchange it Monday.

Pretty sure every touch screen looks that way under the right light.

It's the digitizer. Every singly capacitive touch device ever made has these "dots." It's more apparent in devices where the digitizer is built into the LCD panel like the Z10, iPhone 5, etc.

Pretty sure every touch screen looks that way under the right light.
Yep, every capacitive touch device has this. Resistive touch doesn't, but do they even make those anymore? I haven't seen a phone with resistive touch since 2009 :P

Ah thank you, never noticed it on previous phones but it makes sense. Just had the perfect lighting to notice them.
