Question Does the Z10 support browser music download?

I have looked everywhere and nobody has raised this issue. When you click on any music download link, it simply plays the song instead of downloading it. Am I the only one experiencing this? For example 4shared doesn't work.

I know I can buy music from the appworld but there are some songs that aren't on there. Any ideas?

Also, I know I can download it on my PC and sync but the mobile downloads worked great on my old 9800. I hope Blackberry haven't gone down the iphone-block-your-music-download route.

    Please help!!!!

BlackBerry 10 support in browser download, you have to press and hold the link and using side menu bar tap on save link. I have tired it on mine and it worked just fine.

I can't seem to get this to work. Long press brings up a few options, but no "save link as".

Tap and hold the link. There should be a "Save Link" option on the side menu.

Like Sakk said; are you viewing in desktop mode? That's what I always use because I find the desktop mode is so much better for viewing every site and if I want to zoom in or out, I just have to double click here and double click there. If you don't know how to set Z10 to view in desktop mode just give us a shout and we'll let you know

I have a hulkshare searcher in my browser bookmarks, any song I want I search and download straight to the device, no problems.

(and of course after a week I delete the song and go through the proper avenues to purchase the ones I like)

Anything you download should appear in the downloads folder on your device. Further more, if it's a picture or a music file, it should be immediately available in the respective library.

Alternatively, that search button at the foot of the z10 works wonders.
