Let me share my experience before about buying a z10.
I acquired my first z10 thru a phone plan in our country, after being mesmerized by the way on how the ui works. Android and ios being dominant that time and I am aware of is too mainstream. However that unit was used by my girlfriend since it already had a phone plan and it is a step up from the regular keyboard blackberries!

After I month or two, I planned to purchase a phone for myself. Still being in a trance with the z10's unique ui and experience, I searched for a store who sells one, all of the thrustworthy supplier/stores only offer stl 100-1, they said that blackberry didnt release a unit in Philippines for the unlocked model of z10 stl 100-2. So I ended up on the crowded stalls in Greenhills (pretty much everything about smartphones is here).

First I found a store who sells one and they said in brand new condition! The box said it's stl 100-2 lte. But to my suprise, the unit inside is stl 100-1! Haha. Disappointed, I searched for another one.

After maybe 8-10 stores, I found an slightly used white z10 stl100-2. The box's imei is the same with the unit.

To sum up.
1. Dont trust the box.
2. Do search for the variants of a device, a day or two won't hurt.
3. Inspect thoroughly before making that final deal.
