I have one on, its my second one because the first one got all scratched due to one drunk night (my 20th birthday lol). It helped me alot because it protected my screen from my fall.
Better safe than sorry though 'eh! Got one on mine even though I have the flip shell cover to protect it too. Doesn't affect the response of the touchscreen, so keeping on.

Yes. Cheapo matte one from amazon. Doing a fine job.

i guess blackberry doesnt have a scratch and finger proof glasses, and the patent of the unit is very poor thats why you need case protector
Definitely! It's the best form of protection for your phone. It does not interfere at all with the touch screen sensitivity or responsiveness.
I've got iShieldz. It's OK, but I'm idly wondering if it's the reason why I can't seem to be able to 'flick' the predictive text when I'm using the keyboard.
Yep. I saw some hairline scratches so I got the zegg military grade protector. They installed it at future shop and you can't even see it. I feel so much better. No bubbles. It takes 6 days to fully cure so I had to use it gently but it was not hard to do. Love the peace of mind.

Well I'll give the ones that I ordered a try. My buddy got some that are a real peach, air bubbles everywhere
I bought the tru protection screen from c rack berry that has a matte screen. It's a two pack so the other one went on my wife's. Takes a little getting used to since it's not as clear as glossy but I've gotten used to it.
Before I applied it though I noticed a small hairline scratch. I'm glad the protector is on it now.
Also I had this weird scratch that looks like the shape of an A. I'm sure it came from factory because I babied mine since the day I got it and had the factory plastic since. It was weird, you were only a place to notice when there were smudges. When it was wiped clean you couldn't even tell.
Either way I'm not too fussy and now that I have a screen protector I don't even see it anymore.

I have not had that problem. What brand of screen protector are you using? I have the iShieldz
No. I never do.
Got a link to the product?
Will they apply it for free?
Yep, got mine with the Transform Shell. Only slight bubbles from me being useless at applying screen protectors, hardly noticeable though :)

Sure do. Gives you some protection and you don't even notice it.
Use a good one. Either Ishieldz or invisibleShield.
I even used them on past phones that had supposedly non scratch screens.

Nope... I do have one though, got it from TheSource in a bundle (case, travel charger and screen protector $49.99). It's iShieldz too.
Using Zagg Invisible shield HD.
Can't really tell it's there except for a few small bubbles due to my install job.

I've used a screen protector in the past but didn't like how it felt vs the screen, rubbery and not as slippy. Have they improved since that?

I use the one that came with the BlackBerry Transform Shell. I have never used one on my 9800 and it's scratch free after two years but I figured why not, it's included.
It hasn't bothered me by having one.
Anyone else using the one included with this case and pay attention to the brand?
It fits perfectly within the bezel.

I put on an iShieldz and after 2 weeks and I saw what looked like discoloration. I took it off and I was appalled! Half of the protector was darker, with noticeable darkness all around the edges. I contacted the company, still haven`t had a response. Not impressed.
