Do You Use Active Frames?
For some reason, instincts, paranoia, I dont know, but knowing full well I can leave a bunch of apps running on my z10.... I always close what I'm doing when i'm finished. I have yet to 'need' active frames. I need to realize the full potential of this phone lol

To the opposite, I open apps even though I am not using to show off to myself the number of apps that are open..

Nah, just common sense. No need to make use of multi tasking if you don't need it. But when you do, it's great to have it.

While you may not always find people with the same issue you have, you'll NEVER be alone in CrackBerry!!
But yeah, I do that too, only thing that I usually leave open is BBM, but it's probably the ONE app I really don't need open since it runs in the background anyway...Quick Help BLACKBERRY HELP 101 | Direct load Android (APK) Apps : BB10 10.2.1|Sideloading apps: BB10/PlayBook | Update/Reload Software: BB7.1- - PlayBook - BB10 | Debrick: BB7.1- - PlayBook - BB10 | Backup 3rd Party Apps: BB7.1- - PlayBook & BB10: Just use BB Link | Battery Saving: BB7.1- - PlayBook - BB10

Since i used the iphone 4s, I'm used to keep all my top used apps up in running in the back ground, even when i switch to the 9900 in December, i was still letting everything running even if it drain the battery ( I'm working in the office, sometimes at home but always on a computer so charging my phone is not an issue for me) now with the z10, i always have 4-6 apps running

Except from Hub you can't see contact updates, nor anything from Groups besides the chat.
(Come on, BBRY! Put the pics into the group chat already!)
Sorry, I'm wandering further and further off topic...
Anyway I do this too. Sometimes I leave open CB10, BB World, or maybe Twitter to save my place.
I'm experimenting with closing Wallpaper Changer HD to determine if it's having an effect on battery life.
This is how you CB10, son!Saving the world, one OS at a time...

Closing Apps when you are done....it is how for many years we have been conditioned to do with "Smart Phone"...it's going to take awhile to realized that QNX is not like the other OS...but people at NASA knew that already well before smart phone.
