Just wanted to ask what you think about the imminent release of Skype for BB10? I hope because of the US release tomorrow the app (maybe other most wanted apps, too) will be out today or tomorrow. Just wanted to hear what you guys think.

Thanks very much for letting us know. It's been 'quiet ' lately. Skype, imho, is a much bigger deal than Instagram. Thankfully for everyone both are coming. Now I'm just waiting to hear more on Blackberry Travel!

They also want as much market share as possible. Look at whatsapp.

They have penetrated the market by trying to be on every phone, can you imagine if they decided they want to get into video chat... voice calling...

If I were Microsoft, I would try to be on every platform so no one will find other alternatives.

Already Facebook is starting to roll out free voice calls with their messenger app. I would be a little worried if I were Microsoft.

Not for anything else, but I feel weird asking and begging the third party developers to make their applications and games available to my device platform... isn't supposedly the job of the device manufacturer i.e. to ensure that those common and popular applications / games are available to their products to make them competitive? And besides, if the third party developers doesn't listen to the manufacturer itself, what is the chance of them listening to the manufacturers' customers?
