Seems I can't turn this off. It's off in the settings, but sent emails still appear in the list with a tick next to them.

Delete them right after you send them. I do it all the time and takes no time to do.

Mine works fine... I'd set the thing to on and then off again to reset the flag. Remember that when it's WORKING, the setting box should be grey and say "off". Those toggles can be a bit counter intuitive.

True that!! although these are the best of those toggles, some are waaaay worse, Magellan compass comes to mind.
I have it off and sometimes I have to delete sometimes I don't.. a bit flakey there.

And then they would delete in my Sent Items on my Active Sync accounts. A terrible "work around". And bugs should be fixed and not worked around.
