I keep getting message that device storage is almost full and recommends moving or deleting files. How do I find out what taking up most of storage and how do I transfer to my SD card? On Z10 10.2

There are various ways. Open Settings and scroll down to Storage and Access. Scroll down to Device Storage Details. You can also look at Media Card (sd card). Tap the app's name and there will be more details.

Or open Device Monitor and again look at Storage.

Wait a little more and you'll see GB info for System and Apps. On your screenshot it's still loading information. You took the screenshot too early.

That's a good question. It shows that 11.8 is used and 1.3 is available.

I guess I thought it would show how many songs/videos/etc and space. I thought it use to show that type of info.

You can try using the File Manager and explore the Internal Memory's various folders and see what's there. If you find files, you can Select them and then MOVE them to the sd card. After Selection, you have to navigate to the card using the lower left menu.

I am not sure what takes up internal space (the remnants of downloaded OS's???).

...or just to many installed applications. That's why I want a screenshot with System and Apps share in Used memory. If it's Apps taking the space, then he has to uninstall some. Can't move apps to SD Card in BB10.

I received the same warning that I was running low on device memory. First thing I checked for was videos and pictures stored on the device. Sure enough I had the Lord of the Rings saved to the device (4gb). Simply moved them to the SD card and now lots of memory free on the device.

I have no idea why IGrann is using 5.5GB space. Someone who uses Instagram can help you here.
