I don't think I would have even opened the box. Just sent it right back. But that is pretty awesome that it still turns on after that kind of damage.

It looks like that Z10 saved someone's life. The two bullet indentations did not penetrate the device that was clearly in someone's shirt pocket. The bullets never made it to the heart.

Hope they will be willing to receive it back since you opened it and everything. Hope you called them right away, even sent pictures of the unopened box.

They better send you a new one that's ridiculous. I can't believe the z10 works after all that. Built like a tank.

You should probably turn it off and remove the battery. It's very dangerous to use the battery if it's damaged.

Warranty covers defective products by the manufacturer. This would be an insurance claim.

If the phone is still fine and functional, I would suggest trying to get a substantial partial refund from the seller, and a new battery and back plate.

And for what it's worth, I bet that battery starts leaking where it was bent in after it heats up a few times.

That's disgusting! New device for sure!

Hope it all goes well, and as mentioned, don't use the battery. When it leaks, you'll know...
