    Default deleting calendar appointments

When I access the options on an appointment I've made in my calendar, not only can I not edit it later but I cannot delete it either. What's up with that?

Are you sure it's appointments you've made on your device? What I'm getting at is if you have setup your calendar to sync with an online calendar (Gmail, Yahoo, etc) and you setup that account as IMAP then the calendar appointments are Read Only. You can't edit or delete them. To fix this you need to setup your account as Exchange.

If it is appointments that you created on your Z10 then I can't help as I have not come across that issue.

I have an appointment saved for tomorrow morning in my calendar. I just tapped it, and at the bottom, there's a edit option. I did that, changed the time by 5 minutes, and added a note. I'm not sure how there are so many people unable to edit these.

Gmail with CalDav? Add it as Active Sync if you can.

My calendar is working perfectly. Add delete edit and it syncs automatically and instantly with the native calender in my PlayBook.

I think the pim is a big improvement. Mine is synced nicely across multiple devices. It seems to me everyone that is having problems are using Gmail. I would assume it is a Google problem most likely a roadblock put in place by Google.

Welcome to CrackBerry, congrats on your Z10!

After taking suggestions from the responses thus far, have you been able to delete the appointments? If not, does the calendar in question reside on your BlackBerry (local) or does it come from a synced account? If synced, what type of an account does it come from?

I just deleted my Gmail calendar. Somehow something I entered into the phone's calendar showed up as Gmail and then I couldn't delete it after. Now I'm just sick of seeing all the Facebook birthdays clogging up my calendar, but I still want Facebook events to show up. I miss the extra options my Curve provided :\
