Hi. Im from malaysia. I just got my z10 switch from 9900. Ive been using bb since 2007. On tue z10 bbm how do we clear the updates. As per older os we could easily clear it easily. But on the z10 n new os it seems u can view but u cant clear.

can't be done. The whole thing about the BB10 and Z10 is to be social, so you will constantly see your friends BBM status so you can be social. Like it or hate it, it's here to stay.
Just go into the three dots at the side, end chat and all the messages in that chat are deleted. (from your side or both I don't know)
Or if you just don't want the messages appearing in your hub, then again go into the hub, three dots at bottom side, settings, hub management and you can select what updates appear in your hub.

Ah, sorry, think I misunderstood the question - not sure if you can stop seeing a contact's status updates.

Go to status updates and press and hold each contacts status and then press the button. It will stop that individuals updates
