Okay. Stl 100-3 with .483.
Today it started freezing and it had to be rebooted to work. Then as i was unlocking the screen, it froze, then shut off. won't turn on, charge does nothing, doesn't pick up with the computer. what should I do?

what was battery before it died? A trip to the vendor for replacement might be needed.

Bought it in April, was perfectly fine for all this time. I'm overseas on vacation for another month.. sigh :/ gonna take the battery out and see if i can get an autoloader to connect

I agree with howarmat. Mine froze and died on me once about two months ago but the battery was fully charged. This will elicit snickers crackberry wide but a battery pull rebooted it and it ran fine ever since.

Heh.. sending something in for replacement with a leaked OS on it? Good way to get yourself billed for the replacement..


Have you pulled the battery out and tried again OP? if you plug it in while it's off do you get any lights?

Battery pulled, placed it back in, nothing. If the battery is in, no light. If it's out, I get the red indicator

So, i got tired, went to sleep. When I woke up. Tapped the power on... red light came on! BLACKBERRY SHOWED! OMG IT LOADED! lol
but it kept a low battery, and it was laggy. opening battery guru led to a full BLUE screen. I don't know. Link nor my network would pick up the device. so I ran 4687 autoloader... it seems good. for now.. charging, gonna test before I set it back up properly
