    Yes it is not as great in producing dark colours as the Q10 or Z30.

    When you push the button at the top of the phone it produces amazing darkness.

    It's an LCD screen, that's why it has some residual glow even when showing dark colors - but I will not say it's bad. On the other hand, it's great in sunlight - a feature I very much appreciate.

    I prefer having an LCD with an excellent view in sunlight versus an AMOLED display which has a good performace showing dark colors but struggles to be visible in sunlight.
