I attended a high end car/jet show last week in my area (Monterey CA). Lots of cars, jets, some celebrities and knock out beautiful women.
A couple of cuties handed me their iPhones and asked me to take their picture. One of them blinked, the breeze blew ones hair too much, but we finally got a couple of pics they liked. I asked if I could take one of them on my own phone.
I took a pic on my Z10 one of them blinked the other looked away. They stood still again as they thought I was going to take another pic. I showed them the Time Shift feature and how I could get the perfect shot without taking another pic. We were all huddled up while I was showing them, other people were curious and watched also. When it was done, they said how did you do that? Someone said, "OOOH, its a Blackberry!" . The cuties looked at their phones and said, "we need to get Blackberrys".
I just had to tell someone.

That feature wows everyone I show it to. Too bad they can't get a BB10 from any mobile stores around here. Oh you can, if you have the strength of will needed to overcome the hatred from the phone store counter droids. I find few have such will power.

As they say...pictures, or it didn't happen. Sounds like these "cuties" couldn't handle a z10 if they can't even pose for a picture correctly.

I agree... this would make for a good commercial. I'm no expert on marketing, and I'm not going to pretend that a single commercial could change BB's direction, but certainly a shift from these generic seeming commercials, with very little staying power and no impactful message, would be beneficial to BlackBerry's bottom line and move more phones in the consumer segment.

A commercial like this would suggest to consumers that there is at least some element of "cool" to a BlackBerry. That is more important than BB is willing to admit, I think.

Hi.
Sounds like a cool story. But i have never been able to get more that one face detected like in the one commercial with 2 or 3 kids. I have tried a number of time taking pictures of 2 or more kids and only always captures only one kid. I have been so mas with it. Anyone else experiencing this or just me
