So I scooped up a spare Z10 from the T-Mobile trade in deal a while back. I plan to carry it with me mostly to serve as a backup to my current Z10 while I travel. A backup is handy in the event the screen cracks, or if flies off onto the path of a bus, or if ends up in the washing machine (or pool), or just plain dies (it'd be the 4th time for me).

So anyway I have a spare Z10 now that isn't getting much use for the moment so I'm wondering. Is there any software that can control a Z10 remotely from another Z10? I was thinking it'd be cool to connect it via HDMI to the hotel TV then sit on the bed and control it from my other Z10, remotely.

Furthermore, I'm curious.. for those with a spare Z10, what have you done with it?

When I got my Z30, my Z10 became my test device for new leaks.

It also works on WiFi around the house, with Fongo installed, as an extra phone when I'm awaiting any important calls.

What else? Media player, alarm clock.

I tried to take my PlayBook full of movies with me on vacation thinking I could connect it to the TV and use my Z10 as a remote via bridge. BUT the hotel locked out any option to change input to the HDMI. If only the Z10 had infrared and a universal remote app. Better luck next time.

But... now that the 10.3 leak is out. Looks like I found another use for the spare.
