Hi guys,

I know someone who has cracked their Z10 screen and it's basically showing streaky purple and white lines. However, when fiddling with it, it seems like we can swipe the home screen.

Somehow we must have pushed the camera app because we heard the camera sounds fiddling with the phone. When looking at whatever was stored on the microSD from the phone, it had pictures of when the phone was being handled after the crack.

Would replacing the screen be possible to bring this Z10 back to its former glory? Or will replacing the screen just fix the crack issue, but you still wouldn't see anything?

Yes, it will fix it. The screen assembly includes the digitiser and the LCD as a single unit, so even if the previous LCD was damaged, it will be replaced.

Well the problem is that we can't even see anything but lines. No apps, hub, etc.

The screen replacement will fix all of this?
