    As the title says.. Here's my story -

    I bought a Z10 off eBay in December 2013 for myself and loved every inch of it and I still do love it. However, in Feb 2014, I somehow felt the lack of apps on BB 10.. (I was on 10.2.1 so, I am aware of the Android runtime, but it doesn't match the user experience as native apps gives).. So, I switched back to my iPhone 5 and pretty much happy.

    Yesterday, my wife came up to me and said that the phone has stopped ringing.. no BBM/sms/email sound.. nothing.. not even the sound from songs/videos.. I restarted the phone ..no go.. then I went with the old method of battery pulls. no go.. for one moment, I decided to get this checked from a mobile technician then I realized why don't I check Crackberry once.. Google'd it and booomm.. Found a thread where people had this similar issue and the solution was to slap BB logo thrice at the back/press it hard and it started working!

    I doubt the official BB community would be this much helpful as CrackBerry is.. Hats off to Crackberry and specially to it's members who are so loving and helpful towards each other.

    I still love BlackBerry 10 and want them to succeed. They need to work on the quality of hardware(this is coming from my personal experience which I had yesterday)

    Wow that's good to know, I'll have to remember that. Unfortunate you'd have to slap your phone though to get sound. LOL I do agree they need to get busy if they want to succeed.

    As it relates to quality I can bet occurrences like these are in the minority. This is the case for all main phone manufacturers be it iPhone, Samsung etc. Just search their forums and you'll see. Everyone has issues. My z10 has been a solid device. No back slaps here
