That's not a fire sale. That's a normal pricing scenario.
Still a fire sale for me since I paid $149 on a 3 year plan in April. I haven't seen a phone drop in price so fast in its first year.

Stay tuned. You're in for quite a freefall.

I don't think they would go right to a fire sale but I see price cuts and deals coming soon. Maybe even a trade in program for old berry's. BlackBerry needs to get old berry owners buying BB10 phones!

Well considering I unloaded (pun intended) the PlayBook for a lap dance, the Z10 won't be far behind.

They are re- tiering the z10, IE lowering the price.

I also think they should give free hardware to all enterprise customers who sign up with bes 10.

Might not be a bad promotion. They will make it back in services fast.

Fire sales would either help or destroy BlackBerry more... if they do it and somehow work, they may no longer hit their ROI but this will eventually spread BB10 (unless the same users will bite the fire sales) and many users will discover its potential... and it will have a chain reaction effect i.e. the more users, the more third party developers will be attracted - it is reverse approach from what Apple and Android did... but if the fire sales would still not going to workout, BlackBerry is destined to be doomed...

I think many will be used to attract new and keep current Enterprise customers.
I believe BBRY is already doing this.

Since BBRY is giving away Z10s to enterprise, consumers will be second priority and I don't know when we might have an opportunity to nab a Z10 at fire sale price.

Also, Blackberry probably isn't going to be super generous like HP (since BBRY is never generous with anything) so their "fire sale" will probably just be a normal sale that is stretched out months and months.

A 200 USD Z10 is not a "fire sale" price, IMO. The Nexus 4 was 200 USD. The HTC One S was <200 USD. I don't see the guys over at Slickdeals batting an eye at a 200 USD Z10.

200 will be a great price point. It didn't take long for n4s to sell out @ that discounted price; I say put icing on the cake (unlocked, discounted z10) as an accessory bundle of holsters & a charge pack!

I doubt they will sell under $200. $200 would be a great price for an unlocked Z10 off contract.
