So i have a puzzling issue... when i click the "contacts" icon, i see all no problem..
if i go to phone, and hit "contact" in there, i dont see all my contacts... what the heck??? I'm on Verizon 10.1

Me too. T-Mobile.
I think this is a known issue and hopefully fixed in the next update. I always use the search function to find my contacts.

Had that issue one day last week....and could not find the contact I was looking for, but a reboot fixed it.

In the past, I've noticed various issues stemming from SIM Card Contacts.

In Contacts app, swipe down from top and select Settings.
You can see if SIM card is included. I have mine turned off now. Now see if it's also missing in Contacts. Go back into Contacts Settings and at bottom you can check if if it's there under Manage SIM Card Contacts, or something like that.
You can merge or copy & paste it into local Contacts to solve the problem.

the contact issues have fixed themselves w/ the leaked 10.2 OS... love it!
