So is it just me? Once i push the "phone" button my recent calls show up in order they were placed or received. But then i head over to the middle CONTACTS button nothing changes. Still shows me all calls placed or received. Only Button that does anything is the far Right one that brings up the Dial Pad.

So I have to hit the actual Contact screen to open up my actual contacts to place a call? Sorry iv only had this z10 for less then 24 hrs. Figured out the HUB and i love it!! But shouldnt u be able to reach your retrieve your contacts when u hit the "phone" button?? Is it just me or is this strange.

When i hit the phone button on bottom of screen i get all my recent phone calls out and in.

When i hit contacts the middle button once in the phone area, i see my contacts that i have.

The dial pad button, well it brings up the dial pad.

I am not sure what issue your getting?

If I tap my Contact button in the phone app it shows my Contacts... as it should...

Well then thank you both xamdam and Mirk!! "as it should" Exactly!! When i hit the middle contact button it does Zero!! Just remains on the exact same screen as if u push the Calls button! No change at all. What am i missing over here??

do a soft reset, if not, pull battery, if not OS reload. in that order

Have over 500 phone contacts. I started to get suspeciuous once my dial pad button stopped working too. So did a soft rest and low and behold. Contacts come up when I hit contacts!!!

Can you not reply using the new crackberry 10 app on the z10. I tried replying from there but all I could do was read the threads and forums. Still works very crisp.

I know what he means...from time to time and for no reason I'm aware of, you aren't able to reply to a thread nor create one in the cb app. I take it, it's a bug

You have to be logged in on the CB app to post, and yeah sometimes it glitches...

Ok it me or am I missing something here with the phone dialer?.

So when I go into dialing part of the phone, where you type in the number, you have in that same box an icon with a plus on it. So when I press it, I get all my contacts and I select one but all it does is ask me if I want to edit that contact.

So what exactly does that icon mean???.

Also the dialler part isn't exactly intuitive ie when you start typing a number in, it doesn't bring up any of your contacts unless I'm missing something again???

1. I think that is supposed to give you the option to add that numer you're dialing to your contact list.

2. I don't think that's the intended behavior if you're dialing.

That's the thing on my site3 if I start typing put a number then it will bring up a list of my contacts and starts to whittle them down till I have the right number. But unless I'm missing something my z10 isn't doing this unless it's not meant to etc....confused

Anyone else expediting this issue. Had it solved with a reset. But now once again once I push the phone icon. It does nothing when I hit the contacts icon or the dial pad icon.

The z10 is supposed to be able to at least MAKE calls without having to do a reset all the time correct ??? Lol. I can't dial a number right now from the dial pad. It just won't come up for me!

Yes I have installed about 5 apps. But this problem had happened to me as well the day i had received my cell. At that time i dont recall having installed any apps at all.

Didn't fix it for me. Occasionally I have to go to the accounts option to manually pull my info to the app and then back up to the home page and then back to the forums to get it to give me the option to reply or create new topics.
