That's the thing. They are hidden for the average user.. in order to input them, you'd have to type some weird characters which I'm pretty sure are not available on the standard keyboard.

If I remember correctly, there is an app called "fancy text" has them compiled, so you can write a message using them, to later copy paste it.

If you are interested, you can copy them from below and save them elsewhere (note, you may only see weird symbols until you paste them on BBM).

I just copied the ODDBALL stuff from Post 11 (frankIam) into a Windows Notepad file. It then showed a empty little square boxes. When I tried to save it, it said unicode would be lost but Cancel and chose a unicode format. I did. I copied that file to my Z10. I then opened it in the app NOTED. Those oddballs from Post 11 were now real emoticons. Of course, I am having trouble copying just one of them using the z10's funky (for me) editing circle!!!!

That is a jpg image so that may account for the quality that you see. The problem in the notepad file I created is that the images are TINY and hard to discern. And as noted, I canNOT really grab and copy just one of them using the Press-hold edit method.
