Until they develop a "Clear Cache" function, you're gonna have to delete it and reinstall. Cheers.

Because we help all here. Trolls, goblins and all the lot. That's why.

OP, I'd try closing the app, deleting it, rebooting the decide (hold the top button and wait till it reboots itself - let go when you see the BlackBerry loading screen). Then install again.

Mine never goes over 40MB though. Consider turning background updates off.

My background sync has always been "off", yet I'm at over 650 MB now. I passed the 500 MB mark about three weeks ago.

    So, that's not it.

I still have plenty of storage, so I'm not that worried about it. Still, seems excessive, so I may try the delete-reboot-reinstall method at a later time.

You're confusing QNX with the lesser phone OS systems.

QNX phones manage memory efficiently and don't require cache clearing to recoup memory.

That's why it's heavily used in medical and automotive applications.

Imagine having to reboot the respirator that's keeping you alive. That would be bad if it was running iOS, Android or Windows.

I am keep wondering why so much praise and mislead..
Why do you compare that with smartphones? Let's limit to smartphones please..
Dear, I had ios 7 running for more than 70 days and was ok, and definitely worked more reliable than bb10 powered by qnx in 12 days. Better memory management too.

Don't compare qnx with ios. Compare bb10 with ios, because the final product is what matter. Also my dear, android's kernel, linux, is darn stable!

For most what matters is the final product. And BB10 is simply not there: apps loads slower, inconsistent battery life, memory management is mediocre (leaving you with important things out from memory), unreliable contacts and so on.

I know....sometimes it is just makes me sad
If I spoke that nonsense at work about so called facts....i would be banned from my job in technology, laughed at, and shown to the door.....but then again, I still have my Z10 with QNX on a mobile platform so I am happy

I am not having any of these issues, and I'm sure most people aren't, my dear.
