Charging LED
Hi,
Does anybody's Z10 LED go green when charging is complete as mine doesnt and according to the help it should, it goes yellow when under 20% battery left though? - 02-04-2013, 03:52 AM #2
So, the LED is at least capable of different colours? That's one silver lining.

I've seen it change yellow when low on battery. I haven't seen it green yet.

There is an app called led tester that lets you test the different colours of your led, nothing more but it has confirmed that my Z10 can do red, green, blue, yellow, cyan, magenta and white lights so this looks good for future apps to use these colours.

Charging LED
Mine pulses yellow when charging and goes green when it's done. But that's only when it's turned off.

For BellShare to charge an upgrade fee, there has to be significant updates to warrant the upgrade charge. If it's just little changes to make it work properly on BB10, then they have no
right to charge us. I have no issues paying the upgrade fee if they there are big changes. - 02-04-2013, 07:56 PM #13
I've been an iPhone user since 2008, when I charge my phone I usually just leave it charging overnight without worrying of overcharging. Can i leave the Z10 charging overnight without any worry? I will be getting the Z10 when it becomes available here in the US, never been so excited for a phone since the launch of the iPhone 4..

wireless gal is correct. Bellshare is the one only app company I've heard of that charges for UPGRADES. It burns me up. All my other paid apps have always transferred to new devices seamlessly. Including paid apps that are available on my PlayBook, I do not have to purchase them again even though OS7.1 and PlayBook OS are 2 totally different monsters. Dumb Bellshare.

I love being able to change the colour, the BellShare one is the best one out there (for the old handsets).
Agree with Wirelessgal.. they are CRAP at anything to do with customer service, so I have no idea what country they are really in.
No doubt they will claim that as the Z10 is a new phone on a new platform, then it is actually a new version and not an upgrade.. either way I will still pay it provided it integrates in and does not need to be running to work like the other rubbish on the store.
You do have to question why a company that claims to focus on premium apps for BlackBerry devices had nothing at launch, and has no mention on its site about the new OS.. at least not easily found.- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

I've not seen the LED do anything when charging yet. In fact my Z10 is charging next to me right now and is fully charged and there's no light.
I assume this works the same was as with the PlayBook. I noticed with my PlayBook that the charging LED only shows when charging if the PB is turned off.
