    I am interested in changing my device name on the Z10.

    I have it registered with BBLink (with the present name)

    Any pitfalls, or things to look out for? OR, just change it and and let everything fall into place?

    Yep. You can just change it. No consequences. None that I've experienced.

    Anytime. Even if you wipe your device, as long as you rename it tot the same thing, you'll be just fine.
