So, I rarely use my "BlackBerry" in car charger (Yes I know it's not an official charger) because I do not usually spend long enough periods of time in my truck. But was waiting and after being plugged in for one minute I get

"To charge your device faster,use the charger that. Amw with your device" or some such phrase! ...never saw it before

As long as it charges, that's the key. I currently use a 1A Black and Decker car charger, and it's still slower than the 2A my phone likes the most.

This is good info as I never use a BlackBerry charger. I have a Motorola one but it seems to charge just fine.

I have an old car charger from my 9930 and I find that it charges my z10 much faster than regular charger that came with it.

I get that message every now and again on my z10 with the official branded blackberry 1.8a charger. (the one with the additional USB port, I got it as a package with my BlackBerry music gateway)

I also get this message from time to time at home with my 2.1 amp USB receptacle (it's a permanently mounted plug in my wall.)


I swap batteries often (again official batteries only). And I have a feeling it has something to do with the batteries, cause when I get this message I usually swap the battery out and charge it in my BlackBerry battery charger accessory and it charges no problem.

I find its more then often the same battery that gives me this message.

I occasionally get that message when charging with the BB-issued charger. It used to happen to me every night back on 10.1, then it went away after 10.2. Saw it again for the first time last night on 10.2.1 (which I've been on for a few weeks) so not really sure what the deal is.
