I cannot delete songs from a playlist when the play list is shown. I know I am able to use the edit to remove them but there is a way to remove the directly from the playlist screen. I have done it but can't do it again? What am I missing? Thanks

Open music app. Hit play list , select the play list hit edit. Then you can remove songs by hitting the minus sign next to them.

I know that method but there is a way to do it from a displayed list by finding a menu icon to select more. When you find that the delete icon appears at the bottom of that menu.

Wow. Ok then. Open music player ,click play list, select desired play list. Tap the three dots on the lower right side. Then tap select more.
