You want to reload the os right.

Just plug the Z10 into the pc. Fire up BlackBerry link and reload the os. Simple.

Load a autoloader either 1429 or 1483, during the write process pull the blackberry from the computer, it'll flash red led 3 times signifying that your device is soft bricked, from there attach to computer, restore through link to get back to 10.0

This is a method I've read going around the forums, have not tried it myself, there fore I am not responsible for any damage done to the device

But you keep saying that you can't brick the phone? Do you understand what bricking means? And I'm confused if you are trying to do this intentionally or what.

If you really want to brick your phone, download one of the OS leaks, any will work. Run the autoloader and when it starts writing, unplug the phone. Open BB Link and plug the phone back in. Link will say it can't communicate with the phone and you will have the option to reload the factory OS. Run that and go through phone setup and you will be back to your original settings. Hopefully you have a backup from before your app issue and you can restore that

Just turn the device off and plug it to BBLink. I don't see why you need to brick it to reload the OS. It was not necessary before (on ANY BlackBerry), why would it be now?
