When viewing a picture in the pic app and you zoom in on it, can you then save that expanded version?

You can edit the original picture by going into edit mode and cropping (Transform) the picture - then just save it.

Take a "screen shot" once its zoomed in. I did this yesterday. Push the up and down volume buttons at the same time.

I want to zoom in on a picture then save it. I believe your method will just crop the original size

    I did try that. I wouldn't have posted a thread if I hadn't

Ya screenshot works great, I use this method when i find a wallpaper background i like but is usually for a desktop resolution so i zoom it in position exactly where i like it and screenshot it.

Same results I think. The snapshot is quick though.

Attached are pictures using the crop feature.

The crop idea is literally what "digital zoom" is, so that is the best solution. Taking a screenshot will work as well, but will degrade picture quality more than just cropping to the area you want.

Agreed, I find the snapshot method a lot faster, I can get the picture exactly where I want then simply click. With cropping I found myself having to try a few times before I got it somewhat close
