I had the same question about "turning off the hub." I have not yet purchased the Q10 but my Bold 9700, which is still working well after 4 years, needs to be retired. I do not use social media at all and only a few apps (banking, Pandora, Tune-In Radio).

So now I know I can turn off all the notifications so the hub has none.

My question is, then, like the Bold 9700, can I configure the Q10 so instead of using the hub, on my home screen I can have the icons for my two email accounts and for txt messaging and the web browser? That would be awesome if that was possible.
