Can u imagine if it doesnt have auto focus like the 9900?
It means RIM shot themselves in the foot, yet again. Anyways, i cant wait for the new BB 10 devices. I am a qwerty kinda fan, but will give the all touch a chance.

This is an interesting tradeoff. OMAP 4470 is significantly more powerful than the MSM8960, but uses an older manufacturing tech, thus battery life will suffer a bit. The MSM8960 though offers LTE. If only the US and Canadian markets are getting the 8960 ( LTE bands are NA only), I presume that means no LTE for other markets, even if they've already implemented it, like Japan and Korea.

The camera is supposed to be an autofocus and as someone else posted here it has a lower aperture than Apple's iPhone 5. That should technically mean it will have amazing low light performance assuming the camera sensor is modern as well.
Hopefully the lens is good enough for nice macro shots. - 12-24-2012, 04:02 AM #7

Can you imagine if it doesn't have wifi like the Storm? It means RIM shot themselves in the foot, yet again...

Can you imagine if it doesn't come with a free Ferrari 250GTO and a holiday villa in the south of France! That would mean RIM has shot themselves in the foot again.......................
BB's so-far.... 8300, 8330, 8707v, 8900, 9000, 9300, 9700, 9780, 9800, 9860, 9900, 9860, 32gb Playbook, Ipad2, another BNIB 9700.
, and now back to my all-time favourite - the 9860!
I like to throw tin cans at people, twice if they support E*e*er City.

auto focus works very well, and you can drag the focus point around the screen to whatever you want to be in focus in the shot - 12-24-2012, 08:16 AM #12
Re: Can u imagine if it doesnt have auto focus like the 9900?
I hope it doesn't have one of those black cloth shrouds that you have to put over your head. I hate those. And the flash powder igniter better be native.

If it's got one of those little cranks on the side where you have to wind it up, RIM's totally shooting themselves in the foot again.

Also, the auto-focus question was answered above. It has it. The Dev Alphas have it and my Dev Alpha has it. We've been told it will have it. Also: it has it.

RIM won't make the same mistake of not adding an auto focus because they know there were So many complaints about it not having it on the 9900.
