Necessary apps??
How hard could it be to make these apps for our Z10.
I wrote to BOA last month and I got a reply saying, we're working on it!! Really! Like we don't exist??
How about, CVS Pharmacy, Hookt, Opera Browser which I had on my Bold 9930, Discount Calculator and list goes on...

I love my Z10, but if they want to be a success, they really need some of these apps soon.

I hate using my iPod to make a deposit, dammit! I want to use my Z10 to do it.

Just frustrated...

I'm in the identical boat over here. My bank, RBC, has said their app is coming for 4 months.

In the meantime, do you use their mobile site?
As a stopgap, you should do what I did and make an icon for the website on your home screen. Go to mobile site, then from overflow menu (3 dots) select Add to Home Screen.
(Note: Sometimes you have to try it a couple times or start at a different screen to get an icon for the home screen shortcut instead of just a browser screen cap.)

Unfortunately doing this seems to usually give you a mini icon, but no biggie (pardon the pun!) as it's temporary.

And they've been saying it's coming for a long time now. Some rep says it's in the works, others saying they have no clue that BlackBerry has a new line of devices

The thing is, it's not that hard if I believe the developers I've read from on here. Sounds like BlackBerry is a very easy platform to create for. You're doing the right thing by asking them for apps. Keep on them and hopefully we'll see them soon.

They're probably waiting on 10.2. That would be my guess. They would have to make constant updates. And to Devs time is money. But that's just my thought.

Actually, you can use the android app which works very well and let's you do just about everything you can do on the site including deposit checks... i use it all the time, not to deposit checks since i have everything direct deposited but it's nice that it gives me the option to do so if i should need it.
