    Hello all,

    This is my first post here on crackberry forum. I am a proud owner of a bb z10

    my phone recently begun having some problems with the status bar ( i think this is how its called - is that one that we slide down and shortcuts for definitions, wifi, etc appear ). Randomly on normal app menu it slides down on its own, some times remains down and other times goes down and up a few times. Could it be software issue?

    i appreciate some help here

    Try a hard reset first off, or it may be an app causing the bug.

    hard reset? i already tried a wipe using the phone software and also using blackberry link. Then also tried pressing volume buttons and power, but keeps doing the same thing.
    i only have a few apps intalled

    What OS are you on. I've never heard of a bug like this.

    i'm running the latest on available on my region / network. My model is stl100-1 and its running 10.3.1.1779

    been searching for similar issues so i could get some help but no luck :/

    Yes I've never seen anything either. You could try loading a OS via loader or sachesi to upgrade but you would have to be comfortable doing it.

    What did you really do?
    - A wipe? What do you mean by this?
    - Using BlackBerry Link? What exactly did you do when using BlackBerry Link?
    - Pressing volume button and power? What happened? How long did you press the keys? Did your Z10 really shut down? And did you really do a proper restart after shutting down?

    I did a security wipe on the Phone itself, the one that requires typing "BlackBerry". And on the computer using BlackBerry Link i reloaded the software.

    Also made a Hard reset pressing the 2 volume buttons And power button together for like 20 seconds till the Phone shuts down And then reboots
