Hi,
I'm planning to buy z10 by saturday 23-11-2013. while switching on the device, i'd be prompted to select country. Right now i'm in UK but in 9 months i'll return to india and use it there. Will there be any problem in using apps(downloading apps used in INDIA), maps(maps for INDIA) or any other stuffs if I register my country as UK or shall I register now itself as INDIA ?

Do it on the setting you'll be using the device for real. I'd set it up to India and if you need to, add English language support after setup.

The device is smart and will know you're not in India and use the GPS to get locations. BlackBerry Maps is a one-in-all app. You move, it moves with you.

BlackBerry would could be an issue, but set it to India since you actually live there. Add your payment info and enjoy.

If i set it to India but I'm going to live in UK for next 9 months, won't there be any problem with downloading apps. are the apps availability based on location ?
and how about OS updates ?
are those pushed based on location i selected?

Note:- I'm buying a sim free ( unlocked )

The os updates because of the carrier sim no problem there, an the app world when you enter method payment you will have no problem
