You can try and reload the OS and see if that works for you. Maybe just trying to reload the bar file for the camera itself may help.

Also having a camera issue. Not the rear or the front camera wants to open up. Flashlight applications work though.

Did reload the camera .bar and even the whole OS again, but didn't work.

(EDIT: Software 10.2.0.424. The camera .bar file is 10.200.0.65)

What did you do to fix it?

Well in the older OS it sometimes opens (and will not close) when you DON'T want it so...

Ok I don't know anymore

After reading all the threads and trying all methods surrounding this issue, I did a full device wipe, formatted the memory card, re-installed the OS, sideloaded different camera .bar files, removed the memory card to use phone memory only, checked the parental control settings, starting the camera via the picture gallery.

I just don't know what to try anymore

Sideloaded it and now my camera works fine.

I tried to sideload the .bar file and it wouldn't work. Finally, I did a security wipe and only installed settings and media, not app data which was like 4gb's, and it worked.

Another poster with this issue said he went into his permissions and shut them all OFF (?). Then his camera started. He then turned his permissions back ON and it remained functioning. Comes from here:

I got mine working by going into picture gallery, selecting More, then "Start Camera"

I really have done all these things that have been mentioned, even the app permissions method. Not even a full device wipe, roll back to 10.1 without any media card or apps installed are fixing the issue.

Sorry to say this but I really am at a low point with Blackberry and the Z10 at the moment. With each update I've always experienced some sort of issue and I'm tired of it and looking at going somewhere else. I just want to fix the phone before I get rid of it.
