I find tapping the screen is better, pushing the button I tend to move a bit and the image gets blurry.
Snap! Os a great application. It can actually help with one of the big picture quality issues I find which is losing focus when yapping for the picture.
Snap is intended to allow you to take a picture of yourself with a sound trigger like clicking your fingers... but that Llowes you to trigger a shot without disturbing the previous focus and composition when actually holding the phone.
Probably won't be good for a lot of situations but it's an excellent app and Kudos to the developer. :-)

I read Snap users reviews in BB World and some of them are worrisome. Is it true that the focus point is not adjustable and the file size is about 400Kb? Also some people said that the images are not saved to SD card and that they lost their images after installing the Snap.

I found Snap produced good photos quite reliably, and was put together with quite a bit of polish.
I can't speak to those specifics you've raised right now. Will check on em.
